ABOUT ME:

I am Chester, a passionate Essex/London-based photographer dedicated to capturing the intensity and beauty of combat sports. I offer a distinctive perspective that brings the world of fight photography to life. My photographic journey has led me to iconic events and locations which has helped in shaping my vision and honing my skills behind the lens.

I was recently selected as one of the finalists for the Essex Photography Prize 2024 for my work in Thailand documenting Muay Thai. I was the only finalist who had a combat sports submission and was selected over thousands of other applications/submissions.

MY EXPERIENCE:

With a camera that has shot images for renowned organisations like the UFC and Bellator, I've had the honour of capturing the tense atmosphere in the pre-fight moments leading up to epic showdowns.

 My photography journey also ventured into the heart of Muay Thai in Koh Samui, Thailand, where I immersed myself in the cultural tapestry of this martial art, collaborating closely with the esteemed 'Punch It Gym.' 

Closer to home, I've documented the grit and determination of local fighters in iconic UK venues such as York Hall and the Circus Tavern, encapsulating the essence of events hosted by promotions like WCMMA and Goodwin Boxing.

Every photograph and video I produce serves as a testament to the unwavering hard work and dedication of the fighters and staff immersed in the world of combat sports. My commitment is to freeze these moments in time, creating visual narratives that resonate with fighters, fans, and the broader combat sports community.
